The decision to skip over the origin story was a bit double edged. Whilst it aimed to correct the mistakes of the previous films it glossed over the characters actual powers and sped thru and wasted the chance of a great action scene with the montage of classic FF villains. Sue and johnnys powers were well displayed but I thought Ben and Reid’s were lacking. Plot was very straight forward so personally I found it lacking. Visually a well put together film. Good cast and character dynamics. Only Pedro for me seemed the wrong choice.
