This film didn’t truly use the great actors/actresses to their full potential. I didn’t get to laugh as much as I expected, taking note there were several successful comedians highlighted in this film. I did get the concept and the story line, but the Producer could have spent more time on developing each character and truly making this a film that many would want to watch more than once. I really feel like I want to reclaim my time for watching a film that was heavily promoted and failed to meet expectations.

I enjoyed the original and classic Coming to America. This sequel did not meet my expectations, and definitely doesn’t measure up to the original. There was an overwhelming presence of comedians in this film, yet the laughter for me was minimum. Could have been a better movie, if the focus was more on the story line and not the overwhelming star filled cast.
