Be very cautious of 5 star reviews as they’re most probably reviewed by long time fans and read the book through rose tinted glasses. In a nutshell: Glamourising abuse is NOT okay. Lack of redemption is NOT okay. Writing a female lead who is a pushover is NOT okay. Fetishising scars on a female that you caused is NOT okay.
