I love this game, it didn't take long for me to get into. Just a heads up though, if you want to play on a hard difficulty setting, make sure you select "Hard 2". In my opinion, regular hard mode seemed more like normal difficulty.
One of the only complaints I have about this game is, there's a few bugs and glitches floating around in the source code. Luckily, they aren't game breaking bugs. Most of the time you can simply reload your save file or restart the console to fix the issues. During my playthrough the glitches weren't too frequent and a lot of the time they were amusing to me anyways. Lol
I was satisfied with the storyline and its characters. Sure, it's not so much as epic as The Last of Us was, yet Days Gone still holds elements and experiences that game lacks. They implemented an entertaining skill system, along with camps you gain trust from by doing jobs for them. Trust you acquire from camps nets you more weapons and motorcycle upgrades for purchase. There's plenty of guns, explosives and melee weapons to go around as well.
The world map is just big enough to satisfy anyone who enjoys open world sandbox shenanigans and traversing the landscape gets more enjoyable as you continue to upgrade your bike. You're able to fast travel but there's also a survival mode that locks you out of it if you prefer a more immersive experience.
There's little to no reason why anyone shouldn't check this game out, as long as they're into open world action/adventure survival horror with some RPG elements. Plus, you can nab this title for a good price at this point.
