I’m a younger reader and still it is one of my favorites!! I have read a lot of historical fiction books but I really connected with this story and its characters. It does start a little slow but by the end, I was in tears. I read it in two days and once I got going I could not put it down. Beautifully written and well done. Highly recommended and is a great book club book!!
