The Khalistan Conspiracy - The author is biased, partisan and sympathetic towards the 1984 riots. 1. Mentioning the few incidents where congress was not involved and explaining the incidents where congress was involved shows the weakness of an author. 2.The author is more inclined towards unleashing the role of the Congress to the 1984 riots rather than taking a deep dive to the Sikh Diaspora in Canada at that time showing the lack of research. Also the author has ignored the socio and cultural aspects. 3. First 2 pages of chapter 1 is enough to show the Khalistan conspiracy and rise of Jarnail Singh. The author has over simplified the history thus diluting the facts with in. The book is based on few news article of Indian Today and Indian express leaving aside the meticulous study of varied resources. In short it is memoir of 1984 riots.
