There are no words to describe this masterpiece of cinema. As I sat there with the credits rolling by, I was speechless. This movie, nay, this blessing of the gods, was and still is the best movie I have ever seen. Some may say it was the first, but I believe this film took that already beautiful piece of art, and did the impossible, making it 1000 times better. One of the main cornerstones of the movie is the cast. Matthew Lillard was molded to portray the Almighty Shaggy, and Freddie Prinze Jr. held up his role as Fred Jones impeccably. He even changed his name to emulate the character more. Not to mention the dog they chose for the main canine himself, Scooby-Doo. How they ever got a dog to talk, I'll never know. Besides the cast, the movie had some of the best VFX since Morbius. The monsters seemed so real that whenever they were on screen , I screamed and cried and hid away until they had left. I am utterly shocked this movie was not R rated. However, if it was, I wouldn't have been able to witness the glory of it so soon in my measly mortal life. All around, this movie is my favorite of all time, heck, it's my top 10 favorites of all time. Without it, no one would know what perfection is. So thank you Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. You have given us a glimpse into the secrets of the universe, and for that, I believe I represent the whole of the earth when I say we are grateful.
