Great remake/remix album, and the very natural pairing of classic BMW with hip hop turns this album into a tribute in many ways.
Particular highlights are Turn Your Lights Down Low (Ms Lauryn Hill) and Bussa Bus verse on Rastaman Chant, which is one of his finest moments.
Reggae music has had such an impact on the lives and upbringing of almost all hip hop artists, especially in the 5 boroughs, and one can easily see from the artists' engagement that this was a project they were thrilled to be part of. This wasn't one that was phoned in. Cats was serious, and they let it fly.
