Worst Tim Burton production I've ever seen. Watched the first one again twice recently with my children in anticipation of the this long awaited sequel. Both my children loved the original. This sequel introduces taking drugs, sexual intercourse, birthing and a lot more foul language and an overall horrible plot that jumps all over the place with little resolve other than to eliminate characters at the end. The acting is horrible with what I would consider a zero retake on any shots. And the film quality has the look and feel of a low budget soap opera from the 80's.... No depth. The throwbacks to the first film and 80's nostalgia seemed forced and for the most part just stupid. It is obvious that time, resources and quality were not considered in this production.... Other than to just put out something quickly relying on its antecedent for clout. My children thought it was awful... I thought it was awful. We almost got up and left about 2/3rds way through... But only stuck it out to see if the conclusion was any good. We should have left. Don't waste your time on this film... And I'm highly skeptical to watch any future Tim Burton production after this.
