I have never been this excited about a television series before. Every episode feels like a trip to the IMAX theater. I'm on the edge of my seat!
Most of the bad reviews I'm seeing are from Tolkien gatekeepers who are angry that it doesn't follow the original written material. This isn't meant to be an exact visual replica of a paricular book though; this is a worthy and creatively original adaptation utilizing some of what we already know and love, and I can't wait to see what story will unfold!
