A very bizziare, yet realistic view of the dating scene these days. Sophia Thatcher, aka Iris is finding herself literally in "Companion." Her idiot, but charming boyfriend ignites a crime, complete with grand theft and murder. It's difficult to summarize the story without giving away pertinent details. Romance and vicious murder are vital plot lines in "Companion." The electric cork screw death of one individual was the most original killing I've ever seen. The romance is a little bubble-gumish, but the dialogue was often clever & mixing romance, science fiction and horror worked well in this off the wall Valentine's flick. Four stars easy for this original take on love and it's journey.
