Clearly a great story which has been directed poorly. It is needlessly long and slow, with a constant tension that never quite pays off. The director may have been going for something like, "always on the edge of their seat" or "portraying that feeling of constant uncertainty", but no. It is just drawn out with lamely played out scenes that were often unbelievable, with the watcher saying, "they are stupid".
