I was so excited to see this movie in the theater! Seeing it TODAY, I was impressed with the dynamics and the artistry of the film. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I was disappointed. I actually almost fell asleep 2/3rds of the way through. I just don't understand why they told this story the way they did. It just wasn't what I was expecting. I actually walked out of the theater thinking, I spent 3 hours of my life expecting to be entertained, yet I was in a worse mood after the movie. IDK Maybe that was the point of the story. I want to go to the movies as escapism, not this.
