I’m not sure why so many people were turned off by it not being 100% historically correct. This is a TV series. And I’m not sure why everyone is so turned off by “wokefullness”. As a woman, I was so happy to be represented on the screen, and powerfully so. To be diverse and not second class and just supporting men. We KNOW what the history was. We know…trust me…we know. But this is “entertainment” for all of us. And this woman was entertained…by this fictional (fictional) tv show. So to the writers, directors, producers…Thank you. I appreciate it. Deeply. We like being depicted as more than secondary T and A entertainment.
