The only redeeming quality…David. I have loved Superman since Christopher Reeves time. I understand a new era was needed, Snyder’s films were dark, but this movie felt like a big joke, I just didn’t understand. I felt like it was a big ol’ parody for the bros. It was so corny/cringy, the storyline was stupid, the special effects were too much, and I really tried but after a hour, I couldn’t take it anymore. I turned it off/left the room. The Justice League was a complete joke of an old man (annnoying hair cut, that’s not green lantern) and two random characters (like really? Those two out of all of DC’s Justice League?). Lois was not Lois (this destroying of character hurts most). I did like Holt as Lex, the obsessive behavior was great and it was effective to use his big blue eyes as crazy eyes. Besides that, I was and am so disappointed. James Gunn direction ruined his Superman franchise for me. Loved the Guardians and Thor movies but damn. This straight up sucked and never has Superman been a joke. I think that’s the problem Gunn loves to be funny/joking and DC isn’t that franchise to do it (maybe you can agrue Flash). I hope Gunn stays away from Batman…cause with that joke of a justice league, I can’t imagine how goofy he’d make Batman
