This series is amazing and as a Muslim i love how it doesn't show us in a bad light as r@cest people in netfl!x show us, but its kind of confusing as we only have one god. but i do appreciate how instead of smairah saying "yea i still believe them as gods even tho I'm not suppose to" she said something like"i only see them as powerful-then-people entities".
i got super excited when i found out there was a Muslim in this book.
i don't get a few things, okay so she wears a hijab right? why does she take it off when she's around the guys? .... i mean we literally wear a hijab because of men, it just doesn't make sense. and the name "sam" doesn't sound middle eastern (unless you wanted her to seem white-washed)
and it kinda seems r@cest that your making her marry at 16 (or however old she is) cuz that doesn't happen and thats not legal.
But i absolutely love this book at it is wayyyyy better then watching the thor movies.....but norse mythology is just boring
