There was no genuine feeling in the movie. The dialogue was bland. Side characters were amazing. Guy Gardner and Mr Terrific were fun to watch. Superman was this whiny toddler the whole time and lex was very predictable and non villainy he was just another angry toddler. There were times where I thought there was going to be a meaningful scene or even heartfelt but no. (Superman dialogue with papa Kent, or child raising the Superman flag) I am utterly disappointed. No emotion. I had high hopes for James Gunn. He did amazing with the guardians trilogy, he took the same route with Superman and it unfortunately did not work. 4/10 Superman 3 is a masterpiece compared to this.

We enter a Norse mythological interpretation graphically inspired by comic book graphics, referring to Zack Snyder's Watchmen adaption. There is no pretense: this is an adult animated series that combines eroticism and gore. Stone Quarry and Xilam's animation is a true visual feast. This is yet another series in which the Aesir are represented negatively, which is funny given its publication following the God of War Norse Cycle and Black Myth Wukong. Although this may be considered a "goðlauss" narrative, there is sufficient nuance. Overall, a solid recommendation.
