Okay vehicle with named stars. Certainly could have been written better with certain implausible items to further the plot.
1. The files of the main character had in his garage. Would he have his own file to incriminate himself as though it was a criminal case as an undercover FBI agent?
NOPE.
2. The main character being able to freely go the the main villains lab without ANY security measures and even locks, even on his main stash?
3. When arming himself, he grabs one semi-auto pistol, not one added gun like a snub nose revolver and didn't grab any extra mags? Look, an 10 extra seconds to depict this in the movie isn't too much to ask.
4. When grabbing the shotgun, no extra shells? Hell at least grab a few extra shells?
Acting good which is a plus. Tighten up the discover of information and it could have been much better.
Gas vapors are explosive in itself and with all the other stuff was good until the unrealistic huge explosion which was implausible.
Stay with the small explosions and huge fire would have been much better.
In closing, still a decent John S. vehicle but very flawed and has become the norm of action heros.
A much older, but really decent movie that action star made is Sly Stalone in Copland that had violence but good story line, and A list actors.
