I may only be 34 yrs old but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW! I grew up watching this show, & still did every single morning for years. Then found it on NETFLIX & watched it for many years on that b/c I dont have cable. Then NETFLIX decided 1st before they took it off the air July 1st, 2020, they labeled it violence & Fearful🤬 b/c they even the last month it was on air b/c of the protesters. All these protesters & rioters are demanding to take down anything & everything! I can't believe it but they get whatever they want anything & everything that has cops in it(which even enough is never is enough, even when they get what they want!)You can't even find the box series in stores anymore Walmart used to sell the whole series for $25. Cqnt find it in Amazon except for selling 1 season at a time for #40 wach season! This show like many others are a good, clean comedy(hilarious),with morals & values taught in every episode, especially teaching opie how to grow up to be a good fine young man one day! Where as morals & values, which now no longer matter. Andy never even wore a gun when he played the actor in his show, b/c he believed that things can be solved by talking things over. Had a learning lesson in it for other characters as well as teaching his son Opie how to grow up right.This is a good clean comedy, no cussing, etc I could go on & on. It was a small town called Mayberry(which if it was real, I wish I could live there right now today!) Also every episode had you giggling! You have to be kidding me about taking this show down & what they rate it now! This show is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! CLEAN COMEDY, TEACHES MORALS & VALUES. NEVER ONCE DID I FIND IT VIOLENT OR FEARFUL!(only thing you could be afraid of is Barney's "awesome" karate moves, or every time he dropped his gun lol😂)! But Andy never even carried a gun! One episode they even did a movie about Andy named "A sheriff without a gun"! He always believed things could be solved in a peaceful manner, which doesn't happen today! A GREAT TV SHOW FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY INCLUDING KIDS!💯💕🇺🇸
