I love Grisham books but this left me frustrated as it is nothing like the blurb indicates and certainly not a legal thriller or courtroom drama of any sort.
Half the book is a historical recount of fighting against the Japanese the rest is a long drawn out boring story. Reading the last three pages is all you really need to do.
I never leave a book unread but I wish I had with this one. Sadly, it's going in the bin.
