The worst version of the Addams family. It's constant cheese, and inaccurate portrayal leaves a lot to be desired. For example we do not see Wednesday in her iconic clothing, or anything close to it until the literal last episode at the end of it. Plus none of the characters look like they're half past dead. Fred Armensen's portrayal of Uncle Fester is just cheesey, and he was a poor choice for the roll. It's literally just like watching the pervert Italian train passenger from Eurotrip cosplay as Uncle Fester while acting like a complete doofus. Which is exactly what we got with him in the roll. Gomez (played by Luis Guzman) looks, and acts like some guy at a elementary school with a white van that says free candy on the side. I expected better from the Anger Management actor Luis Guzman. Mortia (played by Zoro famed Catherine Zeta-Jones) & Pugsly are forgettable with the least amount of screen time. Then there's Wednesday... Jenna Ortega's portrayal is not only cheesey, but poorly implemented. Jenna has brought a homely version of Wednesday that has emotions to the screen. Along with that Tim Burton forced Wednesday to have "visions", and the way Jenna conveys this power is by having b-movie porn style faked orgasms every time she gets a vision. It's very unsettling. All, and all it's a F- for effort. This could have been better, but Tim Burton lost his touch & casted the wrong actors for the rolls. There's literally nothing but cheese.
