I don't share my reviews often but this movie left me absolutely no choice. I don't even know where to begin with my levels of Disney-induced Disappointment. 1. THE SONGS They were awful. I got earfuls of poorly written, terribly produced "music" for 70% of the showing. Considering the mastery of the soundtracks prior to this unfortunate 4-quel, it gets more disappointing by the minute. 2. Why is Chloe the worst person in the movie? Thinking an apology will make Ella's life poop out rainbows instead of consequences. Telling Red she is just like her mom knowing very well how hurtful that would be. Being extremely judge about the ONLY way to get the cookbook!!! 3. They never wanted this movie done. It would have been done better. They don't take us to the castle coming. They just decide that everything is right with the world. They threw in Cameron Boyce for no reason because they didn't even explain Carlos' absence. They decide to show Uma's aunt instead of her mother which makes 0 sense to me. It almost feels like getting Rita and Brandy on the cast stole the movie's budget because nothing was spent on the real details. I feel extremely aggrieved and sad that this is tied to Descendants. And if there is another one coming like Uma unfortunately suggested, I'm not going to subject myself to that viewing.
