Very much dislike the movie. It was an over generalization of everything about napoleon and depicted him as a weak pushover. I get that his relationship with Josephine was important, however, it was completely unnecessary to have any sex scenes in this movie at all. Especially just how much was in there. It seriously felt as if there were more depictions of Sexual Acts then Blood itself. The movie skipped over many things about Napoleon and depicted certain battles only as a few second short cinematic scenes. The R rating should have been for graphic depictions of how brutal the Napoleonic wars were and not for the unneeded Sexual Content in the movie. This movie doesn't do the Napoleonic Wars any justice what so ever and I am very disappointed in this movie. I hope someone will do this era right with modern CGI soon, something I was really hoping this movie could do.
