Sherita Brown is one of the most open, honest individuals, as indicated by her sharing heartfelt stories of numerous experiences and traumas she endured, affecting her grandchildren and family. One tragedy after another, yet she endured through the direction and guidance of God, through the power of his Spirit. Sherita provides practical advice to grandparents by being a living example of endurance and strength. I know Sherita's personality, and even I did not know the amount of faith she possessed to endure such tremendous loss. What a remarkable, loving kind individual.
Her grandchildren are truly a blessing and a joy to be around. I read this book in less than a few hours. This book is a quick read with precious family history and traditions that certainly may be useful for other families. I gleaned from the various chapters quickly embracing useful suggestions, with much admiration after reading about life trials, and her honest regrets. I rate this book a four, due to its easy read, degree of open, honest storytelling, and numerous practical examples.
Great job Sherita!
