Absolute crap. Deserves nil rating. The story line is rubbish, unbelievable - was this supposed to be a black comedy? Sad mind at work if it was. During episode1 I wondered if it was a surreal warped offshoot of League of Gentlemen. The only thing it achieved with me by episode3 was a desire to either punch the tv or wimp-bodied Ewen Bremner's horse teeth in when everyone else seemed powerless to put an end to his rants. A bald head normally equates to a pansy trying to look menacing... in his case add globe-eyed and stupid. I'm surprised David Ireland got away with some of the gratuitously violent content - torturing a cat / punching a child and beating and kicking women etc - the like of which we don't need portrayed in dramas as entertainment in this day and age of being surrounded by real life mindless violence in society everywhere. If you want to waste hours you wont ever get back - get stuck in. Anyone giving it more than a 1star rating needs to visit a psychiatrist in the very near future. As do the cast for appearing in it.
