This short has marvelous animation. The glasses on the balcony table might be my favorite bit. The mouse perspective of the women's shoes as they walk down the hall. The exaggerated perspectives are very satisfying. I watch cartoons for the art more than the story. Early Tom and Jerry had beautiful backgrounds, before background artists were given film credit. The mayhem scale is about a one. This one is all about the art.
