Random Tandem

SPOILERS for those who have yet to see it. The movie is good! Although there were 2 scenes that I think were not the best. The wedding scene was way too long. The bride (already forgot her name) was that enjoyable to watch, I didn’t draw near to this character. She herself had a lot of screen time, more than Knuckles it felt. The dancing scene didn’t feel needed, but it ended up having a significant importance, which I think was intentional to save that scene from being outright unnecessary. Some visual effects were SO BAD. The compass scene where sonic throws it to tails, and Robotnik appears he was not put in the scene correctly. It didn’t look realistic & so obviously that someone inserted him lazily. So bad. More sonic and friends on screen would’ve been a nice touch, too much human screen time. The pace of the movie definitely seemed fast, maybe it was a little rushed? As soon as I sat down in the theater, I stood right back up haha. The movie felt hurried. I think quite a few people will find this movie distasteful if they don’t have a sound understanding of sonic the hedgehog. Glad they didn’t make Knuckles stupid, just naive. (Looking at you Sonic Boom). The ending was nice, everyone was ecstatic. Loved the baseball scene, really sweet how they all collectively just end up being like family. All in all, the movie is good, hopefully 3 is even better :).

This movie was boring. Did not enjoy, the plot is all over the place, it doesn’t know what it wants to be. The music towards the end made it very awkward and strange choice for the tone of that scene.
