I just stared watching now - in 2025. 3/4's through the first season... the men in this show, so fat, are written as the biggest- most immature- narcissist characters. UGHH. Yeah they all screwed up - but they said they were SORRY! THE SONGS are wordy and boring- with the exception of one or two. Every scene so far- ends in a confrontation between 2 characters. Life altering decisions are either demanded in every scene- or are initiated. This is a group of the most miserable people I have ever met.. with the exception of Connie and Hayden.. they carry the load and brunt of everyone's demands and happiness... these actresses have what it takes- the men and any other supporting character-are best fast forwarder to the Stars.. Connie and Hayden- both written over the top- but manage to bring humanity and pathos AND lightness to their roles. The supporting cast is just boring scenery chewing. BUT! Im still watching and fast forwarding with morbid curiosty- ...

Only watched 4 episodes. Daughters family unlikable. And boring. Cute premise. Cardboard cutout supporting cast. Not horrible. Not great.

Not a fan of this movie. Stilted, over wrought acting all around. Mercedes Mcambridge must have used this movie as her audition tape for Johnny Guitar, a movie just as over wrought, but infinitely more entertaining and self aware , than this poorly acted. stilted dialogue yawn fest. Giant it is NOT

Really not very well acted or written. Feud was subtle, and EXCELLENT. Sorry this is pretty, but no depth at all.
