So,so,disappointed in this one, as all the previous books in this series have been gripping. Determined to finish it (as I don’t like to give up) but trying to trawl through and make sense of all the online moderator chats has been like pulling teeth for me. Because of this, I find it hard to maintain attention and interest in the book. The only thing that has stopped me completely abandoning it are the sections that focus on the dynamics between Strike and Robin. The rest of it (i.e. the plot!) I really don’t care about; I’m 95% of the way through the book and genuinely don’t care who Anomie is! Sorry.
