I am a huge fantasy fan, and love Henry Cavill in the role - he's perfect as is Anya as Yennifer but I'm finding I dont like the series at all. My other half is a huge fan and I've got the first book and some of the games but I'm finding it really hard to like it at all. I mean the fight scenes are great, and the story is not bad but something is missing. And I can only see Triss as that girl from Hollyoaks. I find it very confusing to watch concerning the timelines and I feel that scene when Yennefer is changing her looks not just a bit disturbing but didnt she change herself in the books? I feel it takes away from her power a bit. It's not that shes lost her womb it's just a bit annoying that it ended up being a man that made her beautiful. Also aren't sorceresses in the books just mostly infertile - it's not impossible after all Geralts mother was a Sorceress? Anyway just my thoughts! Most of my friends like it, except for one, I'm trying to enjoy it and forget about timelines etc but at the minute I'm finding the Castlevania series is better.
