Barbara Kingsolver is a master storyteller and it is no surprise Demon Copperhead was the co-recipient of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and won the 2023 Women's Prize for Fiction. This novel was not only five stars in my opinion, I am still thinking about Demon and the Peggot women months later, so now listening to the audiobook version. Reading its 550 pages were incredibly insightful to the people of Appalachia. Incredible storytelling at its finest.

All the feels for Marcellus, Cameron, Tova and their stories in Remarkably Bright Creatures. This isn't usually my go-to genre, but with so many people insisting it was a must read, I now wholeheartedly agree -especially if you enjoy audiobooks! I did not want this heartwarming story to ever end!
