Kazuo Ishiguro takes us on a journey inside a world we can hardly fathom. Placing his perspective from within a robot’s internal structure, he delights us with an awareness of how ackward it could be to adapt to a world of humans when one is not built like them.
In Klara, he imagines an Artificial Intelligence that so nears ourselves as to threaten the boundaries of what it means to be human. This perspective allows Ishiguro to explore several sensative social issues. A very interesting read.
