Woman in Cabin 10 is a BRILLIANT book by Ruth Ware and this movie was absolutely trash in comparison to the real storyline and the trajectory of the plot to allow for an equally incredible sequel to the original. Within 10 minutes I was absolutely heartbroken that this was such a far cry from the brilliance of the book. I hope Ruth Ware doesn’t watch this cinematic car crash of a movie. Maybe as a standalone movie without knowing/reading the book this movie could hold up but as a book lover - and especially with this book being in my top 10 books read EVER - this “adaptation” was so disappointing. They got everything wrong and I’m very sad because we had anticipated this movie for weeks and planned a whole date night around it - and to be so let down with the result was crushing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if you LOVED the book 📖
