Furballs Of Doom

Fire Emblem engage has it's own unique aspects, in this case engaging with emblems, and that on it's own is a fun mechanic! I truly enjoyed this game so much that it even re awoken my love for Fire Emblem which for a while lingered on the background for me. I hadn't even played three houses, and now because of Engage I picked up three houses, echoes etc. The game isn't as dark story wise as some of the previous titles, but it doesn't need to be, it does have it's dark moments which I feel a lot of reviews or people seem to completely toss aside and ignore, when learning why the main character is afraid of certain aspects it is truly heart wrenching when you find out why. I also think for this game to be a celebration for Fire Emblem that the right steps were taken, bringing back beloved characters, my one critique on that being that I wish they spoke more or had more dialogue. Some support conversations in engage got a good chuckle out of me, and as a Path of Radiance/Radiant dawn type of girl, I was glad to take Ike everywhere haha! I could only say to give the game a chance, some of the reviews out there are not fair, not one point, as in my opinion FE games should not be compared to other titles, when playing three houses it was very different from Engage and that aspect is good, but some who only played three houses and no past titles will critique a game in an almost unjustified way. I can only say if Engage is not a game for you, then you might not understand the game in the first place. For those who love Fire Emblem as a while, I think you'll enjoy it <3 I luckily have never struggled between hating and liking specific FE games, which makes the gameplay for me that much nicer, I can respect the FE games for what they are, if you can do that then Engage too will keep you Engaged ;) written better
