Superb movie! Brutal and jaw dropping. From the opening scenes to the very end. Another masterpiece from Mel Gibson. I would have given it 10 stars if I could. Awsome!!!

The original Gladiator with Russell Crowe is a cinematic masterpiece so the sequel always had big boots to try and fill. To be honest the sequel is a bit of a let down, the plot is full of holes with silly dialogue references to the original and some hammy acting. I expected more from the calibre of the actors involved, this could have been so much better. Not a patch on the original.

Not sure what movie the negative reviews were watching. This is not an ott Hollywood effects blockbuster, it is a superb depiction of the events that took place during the 1980 Iranian Embassy Siege. Well acted, keeps you hooked from the off. The movie blends original news film footage seamlessly. Excellent movie, highly recommended.

Dark, gritty and disturbing. Based on the writer and lead actor’s real life experiences. Superbly acted.
