I'm not your typical "musical gear head" by anyone's definition, but I have enjoyed Frank Zappa's Music since his first LPs made our "teen parties" way stranger than anything Dick Clark might have comprehended :) I found the text that accompanied beautiful photos very informative... not just about the modifications that Mr. Z and his support teams engineered on various instruments, but also the stories surrounding particular guitars, amps, percussion, keyboards. If your local library doesn't have one, tell 'em to hurry up and GET one.... or several !! Mr. Zappa always a Hero to me.... he didn't wait for some "artist recognition"/grant $$/etc..... He heard his "duty" and he DONE it!! Viva Zappa!
