I absolutely loved everything about The Little Mermaid! Truly history in the making. As a little girl I’ve always known Ariel to have pale skin and red hair!! Now Ariel has MELANIN with lovely red locs! I was able to witness my baby girl’s generation with a new and improved Ariel! Halle Bailey played her role amazingly and her vocals are breath taking! She’s truly a star!! Halle Bailey represented for all the little black girls who dreamed of being a beautiful mermaid! I love the way that all ethnicities were apart if this movie! Sebastian and Scuttle may have been my favorite characters out of the entire film!! Please please let’s give it up for Melissa McCarthy on her role as Ursula she was stunning!! I love everything about this movie my family and I truly enjoyed and I can’t wait to see what other Disney characters they’ll change in the near future!!
