The ridiculous attempt of "youthing" old actors seemed to fail miserably. I understand the concept of what Scorcese was going for, but it seemed not to work. The hairpieces looked like they were provided my Morrie from Goodfellas! I assume CGI was used to drown out a few of the Liver spots, still they walk, talk and jiggle like old, worn out skin. Not convincing. (Hate me of you want, but more than a few of you understand where I am at with this!) The storyline was good, well written and compelling, but a bit slow at times. The big names in this film portrayed their characters well, but not their best work. Still, an entertaining film but not like Goodfellas that can be rewatched time and again.
