No connection the OG franchise. Plot was awful. Definitely needed Tim Allen back at the very least. Blatantly trying to push adult themes and messaging that kids should not have to have shoved down their throats.
Very disappointed, but I guess I’m not really that surprised. Disney stopped caring about quality of content a long time ago…
