The action was fun but please realize this movie grossly understates the safety of a passenger plane. If you like Gerard Butler than give it a watch. 1) It is much harder to loose power than shown. There are backups to the backups. 2) In no commercial plane will you loose flight controls if power does go out. It is all mechanical linkages over redundant hydraulics.
