People mentioned The Chosen in a chat. I was skeptical. What new could be told about Jesus? I watched 8 episodes in a day thinking why nobody before did a series about Jesus... I was raised as an atheist, taught Jesus never existed (in one of those communist states). They poison your soul and leave alone to cope with it. It took me a while to accept that Jesus was a historic person and a while to believe. I saw Jesus from new angles in The Chosen. Real, human but more than a human, living among regular people like us. None of us would surprise Him because He has met all types. Wish they could do 8 more seasons.
