I don’t know why people were criticizing it so much.. I actually liked this movie — the characters were nice.. The story was good — the girl suffers from Alzheimer, and the guy, who’s talented and hardworking but unlucky in life and bitter about it, still never gives up... And after finding love, even in his dark life he could see some light. Despite knowing about the girl’s illness, he still loves her and didn’t leave her!! And those who are comparing this from Aashiqui 2.. for me honestly, ashiqui 2 felt more overrated to me.. a drunk guy who’s just ruining his life, falls for a simple, poor and struggling girl, helps her rise to success, and in the end kills himself just because he couldn’t quit alcohol for his love.. wow. Sorry, but the story was unnecessarily made tragic, and the ending seemed absolutely terrible in Aashiqui 2. Anyway, every movie has its own charm, but I personally found this story a bit better and more unique.. Now if people say it’s the same, then bro, what do you expect to see in a love story.. detective stuff?? I really liked it. Now it’s up to you how you see it!
