Beyond boring. Don’t waste your time or money.

I watched the entire series hoping it would get better. The writing and the acting remind me of a middle school play, where each kid is told to say their line with expression and then does so in such a forced and fake way that makes parents in the audience laugh silently while applauding and saying “great job!”. Each character recites their two lines and then the next character says two more lines. The dialogue is so simple And superficial that it seems as though it was written by a middle school kid! I was shocked that the character who plays Marion (who is by far the worst actor) was actually Meryl Streeps daughter but I guess that’s how she got the part. So if you are hoping to find another Downton Abbey where characters developed depth and personality forget it. Don’t waste your time.
