This game is beautiful! I rarely stop to admire the design of any game but I had to may times throughout my gameplay. There were numerous times I was put into a situation that I initially expected to hate (like playing Abby post killing) but then was slowly emerged and awed by the story. Many inclusive characters were added and none of the minority characters were overwhelmingly pushed in a PR effort. The themes of the revenge and darkness were amazing, and the characters development was not as simple as the first game. I had to take a lot of time to think about all the situations and became empathiclally connected to them all in some way. I loved Ellie’s decent to darkness and Abby’s awakening. I really hope there’s a third game where a cure is found or made, but I really hope it doesn’t require interaction between Ellie and Abby. Unless of course it’s before Ellie is sacrificed for a cure, and they bond over their shared dark pasts and fight over each others choices.
