An emotional , thought provoking and powerful drama , starring the brilliant Sheridan smith as very brave and feisty Ann ming , who’s daughter was sadly murdered in November 1989 , Ann fights courageously for an 800 year old law to be changed in order to bring her daughter’s henious killer to justice , Sheridan delivers an excellent portrayal of Ann , and the other cast members, all make this drama a must see !

Manhunt dramas series 1 & 2 are excellent, brilliantly acted , especially by Martin clunes and Matthew gravelle , I especially enjoyed the second series of manhunt more than the first though ( the night stalker) , series 2 about the henious crimes of depraved delroy grant , dubbed “ the night stalker “ , he was subsequently caught and incarcerated in November 2009. I really hope they make more series of these dramas as I really thoroughly enjoy them as I am a big true crime fan .

If I could give no stars I would , talented actors wasted on a very bad script , did not enjoy this at all , the worst drama I’ve seen this year .

Looked good at the time to watch when I seen it on bbc iPlayer , saw that James Nelson Joyce was starring in it and I know how good an actor he is from his performance in little boy blue and Time , but when I got down to watching it, I realised it was not my type of thing , plus I thought it was too long ( 8 episodes) , I can only sit through 4 episodes, switched it off after episode 2 .

Watched this tonight , all 6 episodes back to back , and really enjoyed it , but I really didn’t get the ending in episode 6 , I found it a bit puzzling … maybe there is a second series on its way, and the second series will pick up from where it left off in episode 6 … who knows??? . Martin clunes was as as ever in his acting though , and mark lewis jones ( Caleb ) who is known for The reckoning ( jimmy savile drama ) and Hidden ( 2018 ) .

One of the best dramas of 2024 I’ve watched , about the harrowing but tragic story about Delia balmer , the woman who survived and escaped the clutches of serial killer John sweeney in December 1994 , Anna maxwell Martin gives a masterpiece performance as Delia herself. John sweeney was given a whole life order for his henious depraved crimes .

great acting by Sheridan smith and Gemma Whalen , the story is about the “ disappearance “ of a 9 year old girl from a council estate in Leeds , which is eventually found out to be none other than her own mother who planned the whole henious crime. Her mother is subsequently jailed for 8 years .

This drama is about the henious crimes of 2 depraved individuals of the 1990’s who were thankfully caught . Dominic west and Monica Dolan portrayals were outstanding performances . Would recommend.

I enjoyed this drama so much that I bought it on dvd , I particularly enjoyed the character of Jackson jones , played terrifically by the late Brian mccardie , I found it a dangerous, nerve wracking, insightful, tense , and thought provoking but enjoyable watch . Sean bean & Stephen Graham go together well in this . Would recommend.

Based on true events which tragically happened in 2007 , I found this drama heartbreaking and thought provoking to watch , episode 1 was the hardest watch of all 4 episodes , as it shows how that awful tragic day unfolded, felt so sorry for the family of the little boy , the pain of their loss must’ve been beyond words . Terrifically acted by all the cast . Would recommend.
