This movie was BEYOND FABULOUS!!! I took my mom, fiancee and my brother (this was his second time watching it btw) to see this movie and we couldn’t stop talking about it walking out the theater, we talked about it in the lobby, we talked about it in the front and we talked it in the parking lot. It probably takes us more than half an hour to leave. I was getting so excited and even emotional during this film! It has so much creativity, history, culture, and just well thought out characters. I loved to see how everyone had a similar common oppressor at one point. This movie was WELL DONE! I have to see it a few times so I can fully understand everything going on in it. I don’t wanna miss anything!! Everyone who worked on this movie did an amazing job and I will be seeing it again!!! Take all my damn money 💰!! My fiancée and I have been struggling to find tickets for this movie because it’s been sold out everywhere. I’m in Illinois and I’ve seen movie theaters literally have a showing for this movie every hour for at least 3 of the theaters inside their location. May 10, everywhere in Chicago it was sold out! We had to go far out to the suburbs on a Sunday just to watch it up north. The movie is two hours long and honestly it wasn’t long ENOUGH! I need moreeeeee 😩😤😡🤤!! I’m planning on watching this again after I finish my classes. I cannot stop thinking about this movie. Also I am half Haitian so the spirituality aspect!? Chefs KISS 💋!! 🫰🏾👌🏾🤌🏾
