This book was super misleading and very missed potential. A huge reason why I don’t like reading as much as I used to was because all the books I read are serious and depressing and I want to sometimes read more entertaining books. I’ll start with my quick positives and I’ll start with my 3 biggest 1. I like the overall message 2. The characters are pretty good in their own way 3. The ending was unexpected. Now for my criticisms I will list my 3’biggest criticisms 1. The titles super misleading, I thought this would be an interesting story about a mystery being solved instead it was a book of sob stories 2. It’s the Breakfast Club in middle school, don’t get me wrong I like the breakfast club, but I wanted a mystery instead I got a bunch of serious stuff that I tried to avoid 3. The book got kind of confusing I didn’t know if it was a mystery or a bunch of sob stories. Overall this book was misleading and missed potential instead it was sob stories. I needed a book to read during a standardized test so I thought this would be a nice book to read. Boy I was stupid for thinking that.
