Out of all the material released outside of the games this has to be the best by far. It has an excellent voice cast, great animation, and a plot line that anybody could follow fan or nor. I had nothing but enjoyment with this movie and I highly suggest that you give it a watch. Especially if you think you're gonna like the new MK movie. It was bad and you should watch Scorpion's Revenge instead.
