Great cast, great acting, good effects. But the writing was meh for me. There were several plot lines… (spoilers) Going from past to present and it just didn’t feel like it was executed well. I hated the romantic aspect between Ikaris and Circe, I didn’t get any chemistry from them. Just a dude pining after a beautiful woman and her for some reason loving him back? Like Circe is portrayed as this kind, loving, and fun person. And Ikaris just follows her around and calls her beautiful. He goes out of his way to learn human language only so he can spend time with her. Not to be more helpful or reassuring during battles. Just to pine after Circe and we’re never shown any other traits that would make him desirable to her (not including he fights good and is hot) so their whole romance just felt like forced plot armor for Circe. Cause he’s the strongest Eternal and she’s not super combat oriented. And speaking of the end where did Kingo go for the last 20 min? Like was he just forgotten? Last gripe. The end credits character introduced was a cg monstrosity. I’m a 3d artist myself so Im biased. But Marvel has done a lot better.
