The book “long way down” sends readers an important message surrounded around a young mans response to gun violence. At first the main character, Will wants vengeance because his brother had died due to a tragedy that involved gun violence. Will is certain that the only way to peacefully grieve his brothers death is by killing his murderer. He later then questions whether it’s the right thing to do, and eventually leaves the the book off on a cliffhanger. The book makes readers relate and really understand how important it is to know about gun violence. This book is something i think everyone should eventually read and understand.
